The Seasons of festiveness is here! Christmas is just around the corner and there is so much to do around the London area, I thought I would take the time to narrow it done to some of the best and more interesting events in London.

1. Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park
source
If there is one place would definitely recommend, it would be going to Winder wonderland.
It is free-to-enter and includes a host of Christmas-themed fun and activities, including big top shows, an observation wheel and a huge Christmas market. There is the stunning ice rink which circles the Victorian bandstand, and the Magical Ice Kingdom not to mention enjoy the acrobatic wonders of shows at Zippos Circus and Cirque Beserk.

2.Christmas in the South Bank

So many fun activities on the South bank this Christmas. There is a wonderful riverside market with seasonal food, drink and gifts. There’s also plenty of wintry fun on offer at the London Eye. You can take to the ice at Eyeskate, sip wintery cocktails as you look over the London skyline, or treat a loved one to your own Mistletoe Cupid’s Capsule.

3.Hogwarts in the Snow at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
source
Winter has arrived at Hogwarts. Glittering Christmas trees line the Great Hall and a replica festive feast, complete with flaming Christmas puddings, is laid out on the long tables. Special-effects fires roar in the fireplaces, the Gryffindor common room is filled with festive treats and the detailed castle model is covered in a special blanket of snow. Doesn’t it sound magical? If you are a huge Harry Potter nerd (like me) I would for sure recommend it.

4.The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre

Enjoy a magical live version of this classic winter tale The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre in London. Based on the much loved book by Raymond Briggs. If you love the animated film nearly as much as I do, I can promise you, you will love this.

5.London Christmas Shopping Hotspots
source

Oxford and Regent Street - Shoppers flock towards these two streets all year round, but during the winter months they are lit up with a spectacular set of Christmas lights, making for the perfect Christmas shopping experience. Selfridges on Oxford Street has some of the best Christmas window displays in the capital, and the massive department store won’t let you down when it comes to buying presents.

Knightsbridge -  Harrods is a Christmas card itself. When it is all lit up the famous department store is enough to fill you with Christmas cheer, and that’s before you set foot in the giant Christmas shop, with premium decorations, luxury crackers and the wildly popular Christmas Grotto.
Carnaby Street - This is the place to go when you’re buying for that super-cool friend who already has everything. Carnaby Street is one of London’s coolest shopping destinations, stacked with independent fashion boutiques and cutting-edge brands.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope this posted gave you some inspiration for this festive season!
